Bees wax has been used for skin care since Egyptian times! Wow, now that's some ancient medicine there.

And no wonder it's amazing, beeswax is antibacterial and antimicrobial so can aid in recovery of cuts and scrapes. The wax itself helps to add a 'layer of protection' and acts as a humectant, which attracts and binds water. These qualities combined create a really impressive skin care product to help those with very dry skin conditions. Thankfully you don't need a time machine to get it!
