Looking for the best disc golf courses in British Columbia or planning a Vancouver Island disc golf trip? This guide maps out our favourite stops from the border to the Comox Valley.

We might own and play Smith Lake Farm the most, but we’ve definitely played a lot of courses in British Columbia, Canada—and we really think that you should come and play them too. Here’s our top list if you make us choose.

If you’re thinking about making the trip to British Columbia or Vancouver Island for disc golf, here’s what you need to know:

👉 It’s not about one course—it’s about the route.

From the border all the way Vancouver Island, BC, there are a handful of stops that make the trip worth it. This is the loop we recommend 👇

🍁 Just Across the Border

Raptors Knoll (Abbotsford, BC) — ⭐ 4.8 (UDisc)

Less than an hour from the US border

  • Big, open lines mixed with technical shots

  • A must-play if you’re coming from the U.S.

  • UDisc-rated #1 disc golf course

⛴️ Island Hopping (If You’ve Got Time)

The Gulf Islands in British Columbia have a ton of small ferries that take you to all of our little islands. We once did this loop and played 99 holes of disc golf in three days—definitely our favourite way to be a disc golf tourist.

Pender Island, BC — ⭐ 4.6 (UDisc)

  • Classic, rocky, and hilly

  • Old-school feel and island vibes

  • A great technical short course

Mayne Island, BC – Ravens Ridge — ⭐ 4.6 (UDisc)

  • Tight, creative lines through lush forest

  • Fun, technical, and full of personality

  • A course that feels like a hidden gem waiting to blow up

Salt Spring Island, BC - Golf Course — ⭐ 4.5 (UDisc)

  • Long and challenging

  • A great example of ball golf and disc golf working in synergy

  • Big shots, clean fairways, and scenic island vibes

  • Potential of llamas 🦙

Fuller Lake (Ladysmith, Vancouver Island) — ⭐ 4.4 (UDisc)

  • New and tough! Same designers as Raptors Knoll

  • Demands precision from start to finish

  • Expected to be a premier Vancouver Island disc golf course

Doumont (Nanaimo, BC) — ⭐ 4.3 (UDisc)

  • Technical, punishing, and worth it

  • For advanced players looking to challenge themselves

  • Carved out of the rough by incredible volunteers

The Park (Comox Valley, BC) — ⭐ 4.6 (UDisc)

🧭 The Takeaway

BC's landscape naturally make this one of the best places in the world for disc golf.

With wild places-mountains, forests, oceans, and lakes - there's so much more to experience beyond just the course... but it's a pretty great way to see it all.

Disc golf becomes the vehicle to explore the province - one round at a time.

Spent three weeks pulling my hair out over proxy bans on an e-commerce monitoring tool I built. Nothing worked consistently. https://floppydata.com/residential-proxy-benchmark/ Found this through a Google search at 2am when I was about to give up entirely. The benchmark numbers told a completely different story than what the proxy providers claim on their landing pages. Turns out the cheapest option I was using had terrible uptime for USA regions, which explained all my failures. Switched to the second-ranked provider based on the real-world test data and my monitoring hasn't dropped a single request in five days. Honestly wish I found this sooner, would have saved me a lot of weekend hours and frustration.
