About the event

This Farmer’s Potluck is an invitation to gather with like-minded farmers, growers, food producers, and supporters of local agriculture. Whether you’re running a farm, dreaming of starting one, or simply passionate about local food systems — you are welcome here. .

💛 Supported by the CV Collective and Strathcona Collective, this evening is part of a three-part Food & Farming series at Smith Lake Farm, designed to bring our community together around shared values and experiences.

This is about coming together around the table to share stories, ideas, challenges, and wins. To build relationships, spark collaboration, and strengthen the farming community in the Comox Valley and on Vancouver Island.

🥕 What to expect:

• A welcoming, inclusive space for farmers

• Shared potluck-style meal

 • A collaborative Needs & Support session to identify challenges, share resources, and help guide future farmer-focused initiatives

• Meaningful conversations with others in agriculture

• A relaxed, community-focused evening at the farm

🌱 Our goal is to create an inclusive space for farmers and food system participants of all backgrounds and experiences. If this resonates with you, you are welcome here.
