Comox Valley Chamber in collaboration with Smith Lake Farm brings you the 2nd Annual Summer BBQ & Agri-tour! Proudly sponsored by RLR Lawyers and Experience Comox Valley and featuring local Chamber Member food producers, we gather to celebrate the end of summer at Vancouver Island's premier agritourism destination. Bring your family and enjoy the Farm!

Thanks to the generous support of Experience Comox Valley, we will have the opportunity to tour the Smith Lake Farm apiary and learn about the bees (see ticket add-on for bee tour registration). Partial event proceeds will go to support the Comox Valley Farmers' Market Association's 'New Farmer Bursary'.

Is there anything better than locally grown? We don't think so!

For our BBQ dinner, we will be showcasing Smith Lake Farm products and local produce lovingly prepared by Lush Valley Catering. Natural Pastures Cheese Company and 40 Knots Winery will join us, offering custom tastings of their award winning products.

BEE TOURS

Smith Lake Farm is focused on raising sustainable local bees that have mite resistant qualities. They believe in the importance of a local plan for food security and pollinators are an integral component.

With the generous support of Experience Comox Valley, our guests will have the opportunity to tour the apiary and learn about the bees.

-Bee Tours - COMPLIMENTARY (limited spaces available, pre-registration required)

-max. 10 attendees/tour (ages 3-adult)

-closed toe shoes required/hair tied back

-2 time slots available; 4:15 & 5:30pm (please arrive minimum 15min prior to start time)

NATURAL PASTURES CHEESE COMPANY and 40 KNOTS WINERY ONSITE TASTINGS

Long-time Chamber Members, Natural Pastures Cheese Company and 40 Knots Winery will be joining us for this event to offer tastings of their award winning products. Pass the cheese and cider please!
